In 1999, while living in Kansas City, I received a surprise package from my uncle in Memphis. He and I, for several years, had bragged about the BBQ flavors from our home regions, along with other parts of the country, and naturally there was a little competition as to which region's barbecue was the best.
The package contained sauces and dry rubs from nearly all of the BBQ restaurants to be found in Memphis and it was one of the greatest gifts I'd ever received. I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed tasting all of the brands, and the idea was born to start a company that packaged and shipped BBQ sauces and dry rubs from famous Memphis, Kansas City and Texas BBQ restaurants to folks across America.

Within 11 weeks of opening, AmericasBestBBQ.com received orders from 49 states. Because of this favorable response, we soon expanded our product offering into grilling and smoking equipment, along with the sauces, thus allowing customers to create their own America's best barbecue right at home. Ever since then, we've searched for new and unique products to make your grilling and smoking experience even more enjoyable and better tasting.
